Account Creation and Setup

Welcome to PRAYSAP! Setting up your account is the first step toward joining our global prayer community.

Download the App​

PRAYSAP is available on both mobile platforms:

iOS (iPhone/iPad)​

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device
  2. Search for "PRAYSAP"
  3. Tap "Get" to download and install
  4. Launch the app from your home screen

Android​

  1. Open Google Play Store on your Android device
  2. Search for "PRAYSAP"
  3. Tap "Install" to download
  4. Launch the app from your app drawer

Creating Your Account​

Step 1: Initial Registration​

  1. Open PRAYSAP on your mobile device
  2. Tap "Create Account" on the welcome screen
  3. Choose your preferred registration method:
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Continue with Google (optional)

Step 2: Basic Information​

Fill out the following required information:

Personal Details:

  • Full Name: Your complete name as you'd like it displayed
  • Email/Phone: Your contact information for account verification
  • Password: Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
  • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password

Location Information:

  • Country: Select your country for prayer time calculations
  • City: Choose your city for accurate prayer schedules
  • Time Zone: This is usually set automatically

Step 3: Email/Phone Verification​

  1. Check your email or SMS for a verification code
  2. Enter the 6-digit code in the app
  3. Tap "Verify" to continue

Profile Setup​

Step 4: Complete Your Profile​

Profile Photo (Optional)

  • Upload a photo by tapping the camera icon
  • Choose from camera or photo library
  • Follow Islamic guidelines for profile pictures

Bio & Preferences

  • About Me: Write a brief introduction (optional)
  • Preferred Language: Select your language preference
  • Prayer Reminder Settings: Choose how you want to be notified

Step 5: Prayer Preferences​

Configure your prayer settings:

Calculation Method

  • Choose your preferred method for prayer time calculations
  • Options include: Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority, etc.

Madhab Selection

  • Select your school of thought (Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, Hanbali)
  • This affects some prayer timing calculations

Notification Preferences

  • Prayer Reminders: Get notified before prayer times
  • Community Updates: Stay informed about prayer sessions
  • Weekly Digest: Receive weekly community highlights

PRAYSAP automatically creates a secure blockchain wallet for you using Web3Auth technology:

Account Verification Requirements​

Before you can fully participate in PRAYSAP, you'll need to complete:

  1. ✅ Email/Phone Verification (completed during setup)
  2. ⏳ Shahada Verification (next step - learn more)
